5 v 5 Basketball Term 3 Competition

We currently have 2 Taradale teams playing in the term 2 competition (Taradale Swish & Taradale Hustlers). I will try and keep the teams the same as term 2 as they are familar with each others skills and team play. Any new players will fill any gaps in those 2 teams.

Venue: Centennial Hall

Dates: Term 3

Times: Wednesday nights, times vary from 4.00pm to 8.00pm (7 weeks of games)

Cost: $65.00

If your child wants to play in a social team, please complete the school registration form by Friday 4th July.

GEAR

All players will be issued with a school sports top for basketball.

Students will require a mouth guard, black PE shorts, and sneakers. (NOTE: mouthguards are compulsory to play)

COACHES/MANAGERS WANTED

IMPORTANT: All of our teams will need parent coaches and a manager/scorekeeper on the night. Our turf is now available for practices. Without the help of parents, we will be unable to enter these teams.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Players and parents of all TIS sports will be asked to agree to our 2025 sports code of conduct. Please read and discuss with your child and your extended family. As proud parents and New Zealanders, we love our sports and are keen for our students to do the best they can. Click here to view the Code of Conduct.

Once all registrations are submitted, a team link will be issued to register your name in the allocated team. You will also be sent another link from Basketball NZ to pay the $5.00 national levy if you didn't play in term 2.
