Boys football - Tues/Thursday

Thanks to the boys who trialed at lunchtime yesterday. We are having one final decision making trial next week to find our final 9+3=12. It will be both fitness and skills focussed. A list and what you will need will be on the notices later in the week.

Please be ready on the turf in your P.E gear, sneakers and trial number visible on your left leg.

Wednesday 22nd

The following students are on our audition list for chorus/dancers/acrobatics and we haven't seen you sing Carrying the Banner yet. If your name is on this list, please come to the PAC after sit down lunch TODAY. Use the back door by the playground. If you are no longer interested in auditioning, you need to come and let us know.

Trial lists are up on the hall foyer window, near the office. There have been some changes due to numbers of players. Check the lists!!

ALL HOCKEY BOYS (including Div 1/2 boys) trial THIS Thursday lunchtime, 23 March. 

Bring your stick, mouth guard and shinpads! Be changed and ready to go at 12.40pm.

ALL HOCKEY GIRLS will trial Monday lunchtime, 27 March.

The BLUE turf will be closed at lunchtime for our hockey trials this THURSDAY and next MONDAY.

If you are a regular blue turf user, please play your games on the field for these two lunchtimes.

Wednesday 22nd

A reminder: acrobatics audition is TOMORROW (Thursday) after school starting at 3pm. You will be able to leave as soon as you have completed your audition. 

Stephanie Chandra and Millie Lyford can you please stay for 10 minutes after school also for your leads audition.

Auditions start THIS WEEK:

- Dance and non lead singing auditions are at lunchtimes, check the daily notices for when and where you are required.

- Acrobatics auditions is Thursday after school starting at 3pm. You can go as soon as you have auditioned.

- Tap auditions on Friday at 2pm.  

- Leads and minors auditions on Saturday. I will post specific times shortly but I am still waiting on 11 students to fill in the form to let me know when you are available. This form has been sent to your student feed on HERO, please check and complete. Thanks to those who have already done it.

New Spec classes start this week. Rotation 2 classes are:​​​​​​​

Mixed Materials  - Group 1

Bring a pencil case, pencil, eraser, ruler and laptop/Chromebook. You must have covered shoes and tie back your long hair. 

Food Technology - Group 2

Bring a pencil case, pencil, eraser, ruler and laptop/Chromebook.  You must have covered shoes and tie back your long hair. Bring a plastic take-home container with a lid. 

Digital Technologies - Group 3

Bring a pencil case, pencils, eraser, ruler and laptop/ Chromebook. You must have covered shoes and tie back your long hair.

Visual Art  - Group 4

Bring a pencil, pens, eraser, pencil case, glue stick, your laptop/Chrome book. You must tie back your long hair. 

Science  - Group 5

Bring a pencil case and laptop/Chromebook. You must have covered shoes and tie back your long hair. 

P.U.N.K. - Group 6

Come to PUNK dressed in your PE gear, sneakers and hat. You also need to bring your laptop/Chromebook 

Week 8

Music lessons - great to see so many of you making your lessons last week! Times are the same for this week so make sure you get to the right place at the right time: 

Guitar: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday morning at 7.30am, for whichever day you were allocated. 

Drums: Tuesday morning at your scheduled time

Flute: Thursday morning at your scheduled time

Speech and Drama: Thursday from 10am at your group's lesson time

Room 2 is now being used by the EIT students whilst their campus is being repaired. They will be with us for Term 1 and Term 2 and perhaps longer.
This means the red line will be moved back to the end of the two storey block making this a no go area around the 2 storey block..

NO learners are to sit in front of Room 2, the stairwell or Room 3 at interval and lunchtime.
NO learners are to use the PAC toilets.
NO learners are to shortcut through the PAC foyer into the hall.  You must use the hall doors or come in through the turf hall doors.

Thanks for your help in making sure that these future teachers get a great experience while they are at our kura.
