Brief overview of our school:

Taradale Intermediate is a Decile 8, Intermediate / Middle School situated in the suburb of Taradale, Napier. The school has a roll of 550 students in Years 7 and 8, 11 – 13 year olds (the emerging adolescent). Enrolment is governed by an Enrolment Scheme and a residential zone that defines our ‘in-zone’ area. The prospectus below gives you a good idea of what our school is about. We are proud of our achievements, our students and staff make this school a good place for learning, for being a young person who responds to challenges - academically, culturally, sporting and through service to school and community. Taradale Intermediate is also part of an EHSAS (Extending High Standards Across Schools) Project. Read about the focus areas : EHSAS

2010 – 2012 – ICTPD ICT Professional Development Contract – our cluster has developed an action plan and budget for this over the next few weeks. More to come on this great professional development opportunity. ICT and teacher capacity and capability and its impact on student learning and achievement will be the focus of this PD contract.
