school: Taradale Intermediate
is a Decile 8, Intermediate / Middle School situated in the suburb of
Taradale, Napier. The school has a roll of 550 students in Years 7 and
8, 11 13 year olds (the emerging adolescent). Enrolment is governed by an
Enrolment Scheme and a residential zone that defines our in-zone
area. The prospectus below gives you a good idea of what our school is
about. We are proud of our achievements, our students and staff make this
school a good place for learning, for being a young person who responds to
challenges - academically, culturally, sporting and through service to school

ENROLMENT INFORMATION for 2010 Enrolments packs for 2010
are available and have been delivered to all contributing schools. They are
also available from the school office. Note that TIS has to comply with MoE
regulations for a school that has an Enrolment Zone, this means different
forms for In-Zone enrolments and Out of Zone enrolments. Information is
included in the enrolment pack. The following
information, particularly the Cybersafety and Publication policies should be
read by all parents. We ask that you discuss internet safety with your
children and use the guide notes in the cybersafety agreement to promote good
internet practice.

2012 ICTPD ICT Professional Development Contract opportunities are about
to be sorted our cluster is about to develop the action plan and budget for
this over the next few weeks. More to
come on this great professional development opportunity. Six staff will be at
Ulearn09 during the holidays ICT and Teaching at the heart of the PD
